Power Automate & Forms Migration
Move Microsoft Forms and Power Automate flows to a new tenant or site with connections and lists remapped and tested.
Who this is for
- Organizations moving to a new tenant that rely on forms and flows
- Teams repointing flows at new lists or sites after a SharePoint migration
- Owners of many Microsoft Forms who need them in another account or tenant
- Anyone whose migration plan has a gap where the forms and flows should be
What you get
- An inventory of forms and flows, with owners and dependencies
- Flow packages with connections, list IDs and site URLs remapped for the target
- Forms copied with their questions, branching rules and settings
- A flow-by-flow test plan and the results
- A list of connections that owners must re-authorize in the new tenant
- A cutover checklist and rollback notes
How it works
- 1
Inventory
List every form and flow in scope, who owns it, what it connects to and which ones are still in use.
- 2
Remap
Rewrite exported flow packages so connections, list IDs and site URLs point at the new environment.
- 3
Copy forms
Copy forms with their questions, branching and settings, and export responses to Excel first where they must be kept.
- 4
Test
Run each flow against test data, fix what breaks, and document the results.
- 5
Cut over
Switch flows and forms over in the agreed order and hand over a checklist for owners.
What a typical engagement looks like
- Scope
- A set of Microsoft Forms and Power Automate flows tied to the sites, lists and libraries that are moving.
- Shape of the work
- An inventory, a remapping and copy phase, flow-by-flow testing, and a cutover aligned with the content migration.
- What you keep
- The remapped packages, the test results, and a checklist for connection re-authorization.
What drives the cost
These are the factors that move the estimate for this kind of work.
- The number and complexity of flows, including approvals and branching
- Premium and third-party connectors, which must be recreated in the new tenant
- How many forms there are, and whether response data must be kept
- Owner and identity mapping between tenants
- How tightly the cutover is tied to a content migration

Common questions
Can form responses be moved?
Forms Copy copies forms, questions, branching rules and settings. Export responses to Excel first when you need to keep them.
Will my flows work right after the move?
We remap connections, list IDs and site URLs and then test each flow. Some connections must be re-authorized by their owners in the new tenant, and we list those for you.
What about InfoPath forms?
InfoPath Forms Services has been retired and has no migration tool, so those forms need replacing. Our InfoPath guide covers the options, and we can help choose and build the replacement.
Can we do this ourselves with the free tools?
Many teams can. Forms Copy and the Flow Rewriter are free and open source. This service is for teams with many flows, complex approvals, or a tight cutover.
How is the work priced?
We start with an inventory and then quote the work as a scoped project. The factors above are what move the estimate.
